Every That’s Amore Capri event supports a concrete project. Since 2021, we have stood alongside the Soleterre Foundation.

That’s Amore Capri promotes the Online Psychological Help Desk, a psychological support service aimed at young people, families, and individuals in situations of economic and social vulnerability.

The project is entirely funded by the association and implemented with the support of professional psychologists from the Soleterre Foundation, with the aim of promoting emotional well-being and social and educational integration.

Meetings take place online to ensure simple and inclusive access.
The service is already active on the Soleterre Foundation website and will soon be available through the That’s Amore Capri portal as well.

Who is Soleterre

Soleterre is a foundation that has been active for over 20 years in the fight against childhood cancer.

Through the “Grande contro il Cancro” (Big against Cancer) program, it guarantees medical care, accommodation, psychological support, and social development to young patients and their families in Italy and around the world.

Why Soleterre

The protection of health is a fundamental human right; access to care cannot be a privilege reserved only for those who can afford it.

This is why we fight every day against the inequalities that still exclude many individuals from accessing healthcare systems for economic, social, and gender reasons, so that everyone can have the right to dignified care.

For Soleterre, Health is Social Justice.

Since 2002, we have been guaranteeing the right to health and life for children and adolescents suffering from cancer

Every sick child must be able to grow up by defeating cancer. To increase the chances of recovery, in addition to improving diagnosis and medical therapies, we take care of the emotional, psychological, and relational well-being of the child and their family. And we do this starting right here in Italy, in Pavia and Taranto.

Navigating the increasingly complex international scenarios of recent years, marked by pandemics and conflicts in various parts of the world, Soleterre’s global pediatric oncology program “Grande contro il Cancro” celebrated 14 years of concrete commitment to children with cancer in 2024.

In 2024 alone, the Soleterre Foundation supported 28,571 beneficiaries with care, guidance, and training across 7 countries – Italy, Ukraine, Palestine, Uganda, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso – including 7,347 children and their families, thanks to collaboration with 22 partner organizations and an investment of over 1.2 million euros.

The experience gained in the field has prompted Soleterre to intensify its advocacy work in Italy, so that psychological support can become an integral part of the oncological journey. Unfortunately, in Italy, mental health is still treated as a luxury. In fact, eight out of ten children do not have access to free psychological support, which means their families must pay to access a fundamental right.

In Italy, Soleterre launched the A Psychologist for Every Ward campaign, which led to the approval of an amendment to the 2025 Budget Law, allowing for the hiring of psychologists in some of the public pediatric onco-hematology departments that need them most.

Every year, Soleterre publishes the “Grande contro il Cancro” report to show what can be achieved thanks to those who support us and to celebrate life together!

For over 20 years, we have been on a journey to fight injustice and guarantee the right to health and access to care for everyone. This is only possible thanks to those who support us and consider solidarity an act of social justice.
